Tetraglas®, Tetraglas 3000®, and Ceramic Tapes

High-temperature tapes for compression seals and thermal insulation wraps help contain heat and protect hoses, cables, surrounding components, and workers from extreme temperatures. We offer premium and industrial grade fiberglass tape, silicone-coated fiberglass tape, and ceramic tape for a variety of applications, each with unique physical characteristics and sealing performance capabilities. Even at elevated temperatures, our Tetraglas®, Tetraglas 3000®, and ceramic tapes are resistant to most acids and alkalis.

More Information

Tetraglas® Tape

Tetraglas® tape is a heavy-duty wrap woven with high-quality type E, or E-glass, fiberglass yarns and designed for use in applications with temperatures up to 1000°F (540°C). Tetraglas® tape is offered in both plain and drop warp weaves, can be heat treated, and is available with vermiculite, PTFE, or graphite coating. Pressure sensitive adhesive can also be added for installation support.

Tetraglas 3000® Tape

Tetraglas 3000® tape is constructed of amorphous silica yarns and is suitable for use in continuous temperatures of up to 1800°F (980°C). Tetraglas 3000® is available in both plain and drop warp weaves and can be made with pressure sensitive adhesive for aid in installation.

Ceramic Tape

Ceramic fiber tape supports higher continuous operating temperatures and possesses excellent chemical stability as well as strong corrosion and thermal shock resistance. It’s suitable for applications with temperatures up to 2300°F (1260°C) and is made with glass or Inconel® inserts for increased strength and durability. Ceramic fiber tape is available in both plain and drop warp weaves.
