Our fiberglass, silica, and ceramic needled blankets are made from fibers mechanically needled together without chemical binders. They offer thermal insulation for high temperatures and superior resistance to most acids, alkalis and solvents. Our fiberglass blankets are constructed of 100% E-glass fibers that have a continuous operating temperature of 1000°F (540°C). Our silica blankets are made up of amorphous silica filament fibers with a continuous operating temperature of 1800°F (980°C). Our ceramic blankets are available in three grades. Standard grade has a continuous operating temperature of 1800°F (980°C), high purity has a continuous operating temperature of 2300°F (1260°C), and Zirconia has a continuous operating temperature of 2600°F (1430°C).
