Braided basalt rope takes advantage of the strength, flexibility, and excellent thermal properties inherent to basalt fibers. In addition, basalt is environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable. Applications include oven and door seals, packing channels, boilers, and furnaces. Thermal protection for temperatures up to 1382°F (750°C), intermittent to 1800°F (982°C).
