Needled Blanket

AMAMAT™

AMAMAT™ is comprised of an assortment of long glass fibers randomly oriented into a uniform blanket. Applications include insulation matting for high-temperature insulation blankets and sound suppression. Excellent for removable insulation pads, power generating equipment, industrial furnaces, and piping. Resistant to most chemicals. Mil-Spec blankets available. Thermal protection for temperatures up to 1200°F (650°C).

AMA-SILMAT

AMA-SILMAT silica blanket applications include high-temperature insulation and sound suppression. Excellent for removable insulation pads, power generating equipment, industrial furnaces, and piping. Resistant to most chemicals. Silica blankets provide thermal protection for temperatures up to 2000°F (1093°C).

G09P77

A premium Mil-Spec 9 oz/yd² woven Thermoglass® fabric that has been heat treated to a natural tan shade, or dyed red. Applications include lagging cloth, marine and industrial use, and lightweight curtain materials. Resistant to most chemicals. Offers thermal protection for temperatures up 1000°F (540°C).

A premium Mil-Spec 12 oz/yd² woven Thermoglass® fabric. Applications include lagging cloth, light pads, lightweight curtain materials, and drop cloths. Resistant to most chemicals. Offers thermal protection for temperatures up 1000°F (540°C).

G19P33

A premium Mil-Spec 19 oz/yd² woven Thermoglass® fabric that has been heat treated to a natural heat-treated shade, or dyed red. Applications include welding protection, curtain materials, and insulation fabric. Resistant to most chemicals. Offers thermal protection for temperatures up 1000°F (540°C). Also available in industrial quality.

G19PS2- -00

A high tensile strength, ballistic quality 19 oz/yd² Thermoglass® fabric in loom stage white. Applications include insulation pad fabrics, pressure vessels, prepreg cloth, and heavyweight ballistic armor. Resistant to most chemicals. Offers good protection for intermittent temperatures up to 1400°F (760°C).

A 22 oz/yd² woven Thermoglass® fabric which can be plain white or heat treated to a natural heat-treated shade. Applications include pad fabrics, flange and valve covers, and curtain materials. Resistant to most chemicals. Offers thermal protection for temperatures up 1000°F (540°C).

A 26 oz/yd² woven Thermoglass® fabric formed with a twill weave construction. Applications include pad fabrics, flange and valve covers, curtain materials, and insulation fabric. Resistant to most chemicals. Offers thermal protection for temperatures up 1000°F (540°C).

A 70 oz/yd² woven double cloth Thermoglass® fabric, plain weave, loom stage finish. Applications include pad fabrics, blankets, curtains, and oil waste retention. Resistant to most chemicals. Offers thermal protection for temperatures up 1000°F (540°C).

G70P44- -31-7 BLACK

A 70 oz/yd² woven Thermoglass® fabric, plain weave, coated with high temperature Vertex™. Applications include pad fabrics, blankets, curtains, and oil waste retention. Also commonly used as a high-temperature heat barrier fabric in steel mills and foundries. Offers thermal protection for temperatures up to 1500°F (815°C). Very durable.

Special Coated Thermoglass® Cloth

G09P7G REWET

A 15 oz/yd² woven Thermoglass® fabric coated with a rewettable fabrication adhesive. Applications include lagging cloth, marine and industrial use, and asbestos abatement encapsulation. Resistant to most chemicals and contains low chloride content. Offers thermal protection up to 1000°F (540°C).

G16R

A lightweight fiberglass woven fabric coated with acrylic rubber to yield a 16 oz/yd² fabric. Applications include welding curtains, insulation systems, expansion joints, and damage control cloth. Resistant to most chemicals and solvents, water, and high temperatures. Base fabric offers thermal protection up to 1000°F (540°C), coated to 400°F (204°C).

G15SIL

A lightweight fiberglass woven fabric with a silver-gray silicone rubber to yield a 15 oz/yd² cloth. Applications include welding curtains, insulation systems, expansion joints, and flange/valve covers. Resistant to most chemicals and solvents, water, and high temperatures. Base fabric offers thermal protection up to 1000°F (540°C), coated to 450°F (230°C).

G17SIL

A heavier weight fiberglass woven fabric coated with color pigmented silicone rubber to yield a 32 oz/yd² cloth. Applications include equipment and personnel heat shields, splash curtains, and pipe or duct wrap. Resistant to most chemicals and solvents, weld splatter and light metal splash. Base fabric offers thermal protection up to 1000°F (540°C), coated to 450°F (230°C).

G16TFL-60-00

A 16 oz/yd² woven fiberglass fabric, crowfoot weave, coated with gray PTFE on one side and clear on the other. Applications include removable pads, splash shields, covers, expansion joints, and protective clothing. Material is resistant to water, abrasion, chemicals, and oils. Base fabric offers thermal protection up to 1000°F (540°C), coated up to 600°F (316°C).

G17TFL-60

A 17 oz/yd² woven fiberglass fabric, crowfoot weave, coated with gray PTFE on one side, clear on the other. Applications can be found in paper mills, petrochemical plants, refineries, and acid producing plants and include removable pads, splash shields, covers, expansion joints, and protective clothing. Material is resistant to water, abrasion, chemicals, and oils. Base fabric offers thermal protection up to 1000°F (540°C), coated up to 600°F (316°C).

G17TFL-60-TFSB

A 17 oz/yd² woven fiberglass fabric, crowfoot weave, coated with black silicone and PTFE, one side each. Applications can be found in paper mills, petrochemical plants, refineries, and acid producing plants and include removable pads, splash shields, covers, expansion joints, and protective clothing. Material is resistant to water, abrasion, chemicals, and oils. Base fabric offers thermal protection up to 1000°F (540°C), coated up to 500°F (260°C).

A 34 oz/yd² woven fiberglass fabric, satin weave, coated with gray PTFE on one side and clear on the other. Applications can be found in paper mills, petrochemical plants, refineries, and acid producing plants and include removable pads, splash shields, covers, expansion joints, and protective clothing. Material is resistant to water, abrasion, chemicals, and oils. Base fabric offers thermal protection up to 1000°F (540°C), coated up to 550°F (288°C).

A 19 oz/yd² woven Thermoglass® fabric coated with yellow or black acrylic rubber on both sides. Applications include welding fabric, curtains, blankets, drop cloths, safety gloves, mitts, and hand pads. Resistant to welding sparks, weld splatter, molten splash. Very good abrasion resistance. Thermal protection for temperatures up to 1000°F (540°C), coated up to 400°F (204°C).

G22P34-YL OR BK

A 22 oz/yd² woven Thermoglass® fabric, dyed yellow or black, one side coated with yellow flame-resistant acrylic. Applications include welding fabric, curtains, blankets, drop cloths, safety gloves, mitts, and hand pads. Resistant to welding sparks, weld splatter, molten splash. Very good abrasion resistance. Thermal protection for temperatures up to 1000°F (540°C), coated up to 400°F (204°C).

ATG-430-60-BKA

A 14 oz/yd² woven fiberglass fabric, crowfoot weave, coated with a black pigment. Applications include uses in welding protection, metal and non-metallic cutting operations, and lagging. This material is used for broad applications where normal protection is adequate. Thermal protection for temperatures up to 1000°F (540°C), coated up to 400°F (204°C).

A 24 oz/yd² woven Thermoglass® fabric, plain weave, with stainless steel wire inserted. Applications include packing and lagging fabric, boiler gaskets, and insulation blankets. Resistant to most chemicals. Offers thermal protection for temperatures up to 1050°F (566°C).

Applications include all general industrial uses as well as welding and stress relief blankets and drop cloths. Resistant to most chemicals. Silica Fabric

AMATEX SILICA FABRICS

Woven, continuous filament, amorphous silica fabrics ranging from 18 oz/yd² to 42 oz/yd². Can be coated with silicone rubber or aluminized. Applications include pad fabrics, expansion joints, valve covers, and special curtain materials. Resistant to most chemicals. Offer thermal protection for temperatures to 1800°F (980°C).
